Duties And Responsibilities
Teach a 4-4 load Advising student load Interview potential students Attend department meetings Attend required university meetings Assist with department recruitment and marketing activities Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing Valid license, or license eligible, as a Registered Nurse in Ohio Experience teaching under-graduate and/or graduate-level courses in Nursing Experience with in-person and online teaching At least two years in the profession of nursing as a registered nurse
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree or ABD status from an accredited program Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Experience in recruiting and marketing and/or program development Record of new or existing course development Experience with CCNE accreditation standards Experience with program assessment and program data collection and analysis Active participation in state/national nursing organizations and related community organizations
